Xcup is a local, on-device analysis tool designed to analyze user-selected local video content and enable interaction with a connected Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device. The App is designed with privacy as a core principle and does not collect, store, or transmit personal data.

2. Data Collection

2.1 Personal Data

We do not collect any personal data.

Specifically, the App does not collect:

Names, email addresses, phone numbers
User accounts or identifiers
Location data
Contact information
Photos, videos, or media files

3. Local Processing Only

3.1 Video and Media Analysis

All video analysis and motion inference performed by the App:

Uses locally stored video files selected by the user
Runs entirely on the device
Is processed in memory
Is never uploaded, stored, or shared externally

The App does not access media content without explicit user action.

3.2 Machine Learning (ML)

The App uses on-device machine learning technology exclusively for local inference.

All ML processing occurs locally on the user’s device
No video frames, images, or inference results are transmitted off-device
No third-party services receive any user data from the App

4. Bluetooth Connectivity

The App uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) solely to connect to a compatible external device.

Bluetooth communication is local-only
No Bluetooth data is transmitted to servers
No Bluetooth data is logged, stored, or shared

5. Network Communication

The App communicates with a server only for the following purpose:

Checking whether a new version of the App is available

This communication:

Does not include personal data
Does not include user-generated content
Does not include device identifiers
Is used solely to provide update availability information

6. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Although the App uses third-party libraries for on-device functionality (such as ML frameworks), these libraries:

Operate entirely on-device
Do not collect or transmit data
Do not track users

7. Data Storage

The App does not store personal data.

Temporary data generated during analysis exists only in memory and is discarded immediately after use.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected, there is no data retention related to minors.

9. User Control

Users retain full control over:

Which local files are analyzed
Whether Bluetooth is enabled
Whether the App is used at all

The App does not perform background data collection.
